These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply to all bookings and stays at Maui Creek Bures ("we," "us," or "our"). By making a booking, you ("the guest") agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Bookings

•  A booking is confirmed once we have received the required payment or deposit and send you a written confirmation.
• The person making the booking must be at least 18 years old and is responsible for all guests in their party. 
• You agree to provide accurate information at the time of booking, including the correct number of guests.
• The maximum number of guests stated for each bure must not be exceeded without our prior written agreement.

2. Payment

• Payment terms (deposit, balance, and due dates) will be shown at the time of booking.
• Payments are processed securely through our payment provider.
• Your booking is not confirmed until payment has been received as required.
• All rates are quoted in Fijian Dollars (FJD) unless stated otherwise.
  

3. Cancellations and Changes

• Cancellations are subject to our Cancellation Policy, which is provided at the time of booking and available on our website.
• If you wish to change your booking dates, please contact us as early as possible. Changes are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
• We recommend that all guests arrange their own travel insurance to cover unexpected cancellations.

4. Check-In and Check-Out

• Check-in and check-out times will be provided in your booking confirmation.
• Early check-in or late check-out may be available on request and cannot be guaranteed.
• Please let us know your expected arrival time so we can welcome you properly.
  

5. Guest Responsibilities

During your stay, you agree to:

• Treat the property, its furnishings, and surroundings with care
• Follow the House Rules provided
• Respect the peace and privacy of neighbors and the local community
• Not exceed the maximum guest capacity
• Not use the property for any unlawful purpose or commercial event without our written permission
• Report any damage or maintenance issues to us promptly

6. Damage and Liability

• You are responsible for any damage caused to the property or its contents during your stay, beyond reasonable wear and tear.
• We may charge for the cost of repair or replacement of damaged items.
• We are not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to guests' personal belongings during their stay.
• Guests use the property and its facilities at their own risk.

7. Our Responsibilities

• We will provide the accommodation as described at the time of booking.
• We will make reasonable efforts to ensure the property is clean, safe, and ready for your arrival.
• If something prevents us from providing your booked accommodation (for example, damage or circumstances beyond our control), we will contact you as soon as possible to offer an alternative or a full refund.

8. Circumstances Beyond Our Control

We are not liable for any failure or delay in providing accommodation due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather, cyclones, flooding, power or water outages, government restrictions, or other emergencies. In such cases, we will work with you in good faith to reschedule or refund where appropriate

9. Right to Refuse or End a Stay

We reserve the right to refuse a booking or end a stay without refund if:

• Guests breach these Terms or the House Rules
• Guests cause a nuisance, damage, or distress to others
• The number of guests exceeds what was agreed
• Any unlawful or unsafe activity takes place at the property

10. Photography and Marketing

From time to time we may photograph the property for marketing purposes. We will never photograph guests without their consent. If you share reviews or photos publicly (for example, on social media or review platforms), we may, with your permission, reshare them on our own Channels.

11. Privacy Your

personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on our website.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your booking will apply to your stay. The most current version is always available on our website.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Fiji. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Fijian courts.
